Bedtime warmth routine
6–12 mesesFamily ConnectionNo se necesitan materiales
Create a consistent bedtime routine filled with warmth and gentle touch. Hold your baby close, speak softly, and move slowly. This might include a quiet song, gentle rocking, or soft stroking of their back. The predictable pattern combined with your warm presence helps them feel secure enough to let go into sleep. You're teaching them that nighttime is safe because you're near.

Por qué funciona
Bedtime routines rich in parental warmth build secure attachment and emotional regulation. Research demonstrates that parental empathy and warmth contribute to young children's socioemotional competence (Hu et al., 2021). During this critical period for attachment formation, your warm, predictable bedtime presence shapes your baby's capacity for emotional security and self-regulation that extends far beyond infancy.
Consejos para padres
Start the routine at the same time each night. Predictability combined with warmth creates deep security for babies.
Keep the lights dim and your voice quiet. The calm environment helps, but your warm presence is what truly soothes.
If they resist sleep, stay patient and warm. Your consistent gentle presence teaches them they're safe even when tired and upset.
